Benson & Hedges Racing Sweatshirt — Vintage Motorsport

A great piece of vintage Benson & Hedges Racing merchandise, with the bold yellow, black and red colour scheme closely associated with the tobacco brand's motorsport sponsorship during the late 20th century.

The sweatshirt features the Benson & Hedges Racing logo across the chest and again across the back, with the distinctive black and red racing stripe running horizontally through the design and continuing around both sleeves.

The graphic is particularly evocative of the Australian touring-car era, when Benson & Hedges Racing was prominent in Australian motorsport, including the BMW M3 programme of the early 1990s. The B&H Racing name and yellow livery were used by Australian touring-car teams including John Blanchard's BMW M3 in 1993.

Condition

Good vintage condition.

The sweatshirt has clear signs of age and previous wear, including light marks and discolouration throughout. The original neck label is heavily deteriorated and partially missing.

The ribbed cuffs and waistband show some wear, with fraying and a small section of damage to the lower waistband. The printed Benson & Hedges Racing graphics remain strong and highly legible.
